BG1915,owned since the early 70s, oldest pic from an apprentice magazine,by the time I bought the car it had been involved in a "prang" the wings were wrecked although it came with a rusty earlier pair, the rad was badly damaged and its stays had punched through the bulkhead. We used it as our main transport until the late 80s doing more than 100,000 miles(oil filter fitted) engine now at +60 and badly worn so will now need sleeveing. We used to carry our two small sons in it,one between us on the bench seat and one on my wifes knee,on a trip to matlock my son Simon who was a bit of a "fidjet" and teething turned upsidedown and his head went under the dash, the wipers dropped down the screen and the engine ran a bit rough,he had bitten through the vacuum pipe!(he is now a director and taller than me!) now undegoing another restoration as I am retired. Will not be returning to original, have grown used to it as it is,I painted it triumph maple,a colour from the then new triumph 1300! phil.
