What's missing?
started to tidy up and started to wonder if I had enough bits to make a spare engine. Nothing much on TV tonight, so what am I missing? { Engine number 30632 MG 199243F should it have an early head?}

Good puzzle John!
Looks like you need the main rear bellhousing, flywheel, the sump oil filter and external pipe, distributor, starter, dynamo, starter dog, tappet chest cover and screws. But a very good start. Should have the later head.

plus crankshaft drive gear for oil pump/distributor. Still trying to get a realistic price for having them made, £200 each is best prce so far...
if it's got wheels or chips - it'll cost you dear

A crankshaft nut... and incidentally does anyone know what size socket is required to remove said item ?
