Morris cars : India

Post by KartikeyaL »

I now have news of two more morris survivors in India.

The first one is a OHV Tourer which is located some 200 miles from me
and of which I would soon be able to get the chassis number and new pictures.

Second one is a SV minor, which was in the market 2 years back, has been sold and its present
whereabouts are unknown.

Kartik,

I need you to spend a few days in England and find all the 'lost' Minors there, and then head for Australia - you clearly have a hidden talent! :D

Here's one in Singapore for you. Photo taken at Dalvey Court, Bukit Timah.

Looks like someone is about to steal the wheels...

wow !! that would be some mission !!

Morris it seems was a popular car in India, however greatly overshadowed by the Austins and Ford model A's
here in India, and though not many have survived , many are still out there and I am sure in a few months time,
I'd be able to trace many more. 8)
