Hundred Pound Minor

Post by ian judd »

Philip Butland's new aquisition looks a nice car that hopefully won't need a lot of work. I was intrigued by a couple of the 18" wheels,( which he is replacing with 19"). The other photo in the latest Magazine shows the spare and the off-side rear wheels have a set of spokes going to the outer edge of the rim. Would these be Wolseley or perhaps van wheels?

Ian,

Thanks. I'll pass your observation along to Philip.

The car slso has interesting aluminium hubcaps. Does anyone know whether these are aftermarket offerings, or would they be home made? They do look vaguely familiar.

Hi, New to this so hope it appears in the right place. Two of the wheels have been tentatively identified as van wheels due to their having spokes to the outer edge plus six hole fixings, the other three wheels have three bolt fixings and slightly different spoke/hub arrangements. Lucky I haven't found a Centrix Supercharger yet or it could become difficult at 100+!!

Regards,

Philip
