Hi,

Here are two links, 1for the handles and the other for the hinges.

Please guide me as to which would be most suitable for the 1930 Tourer.

Thanks

Hi Katik,

The parts you need are on these two pages, but I'll take some measurements off the fabric saloon over the weekend to confirm the actual part numbers you need.

I will wait for your input on this, Ian.

Meanwhile , I would appreciate if someone could upload a picture
of the lock on the inside of the doors.

Here you go - this is the 1929 Wilmot nickel-plated right side door lock. The 1930 season was identical, but chromed.

Sorry about that - snowed by M 138, the rally and our son's wedding the weekend before Prescott!

I measured the handle but forgot I hadn't sent the dimensions to you. The handle is 3.5" from tip to tip and the mounting holes are 1.5" apart - and oriented vertically.

No problem. Let me know if I can help further. I did take a couple of photos but they were too dark to be useful, as I can't roll the car out into the daylight yet - it is still sitting on four flat tyres with shot tubes that won't pump up. This will be my first project after the coming chaos in July!

I booked my tiket to the UK this week - I'll be flying in from Seattle Thursday morning and out Monday morning, so I'll have a bit of time Thursday/Friday to dodge about and get stuff done before the pub reception on Friday evening.

Hi,

After looking at the measurement as posted by Ian, and looking at the pictures on other cars,
I have zeroed on the following handle. They are almost the same size.

533 - exterior door handle - non locking

chromium plated (alternative nickel plate finish also offered) early pattern door handle, 98mm long,
escutcheon fixing holes at 36mm centres.

Attached is the picture.

Please let me know, if this looks fine.

Regards
-Kartik
