Vintage Minor Register

I have noticed that quite a number of Minors do have chrome wings. Were they just added by owners? or do they 'mean' something?

70 quid! Someone recently commented to me that they were worth over a hundred and I didn't believe it? Picked up a spare for test purposes at Beaulieu for 45 (without cap or wings). I can't believe people pay so much for stuff on the internet instead of perusing a jumble and hopefully finding the bit they want on a stall where the vendor doesn't know its worth! it's a grand day out and a good laugh too, plenty of banter and some good finds.

These wings came standard with the Minor. They are Wilmot-Breeden 'Speed' wings. The OHC Minors had the earlier round type 'Baby' W-B calormeter with the feathered 'President' wings.

Out of interest, are the wings easy to pick up in decent condition, ours aren't great.

Ahhh, brilliant, I didn't even think of looking there, I assumed they'd be something fairly unique to the morris and would be unobtainable.

Yup - it's 239A and 239C for the Minors.
