And some from nice shots from Nick Williams (1928 'Oxford Super Sports' VJ 762) of the whole weekend:

That's Ted Widgery's Aston sports saloon - VERY covetable.

Hi Ian,
Just a quick note now i finally have regained internet access.
Thank you so much for organising this great event.
We had a lovely time. Shame the weather was cruel in the mornings but nothing a brolly couldn't shelter.
Already scheduled in next year. :D :D

Thanks Colin.

It certainly was superb once the weather cleared, the sun came out and the hill dried. We had just 12 cars in the paddock when the hill opened at 10 am and I think the first climb wasn't until 11 - Frank Ashley. But we managed to get in 300 climbs by the end of the day which was remarkable and a testament to the marshals keeping everything flowing smoothly. I was not prepared for the level of encouragement and goodwill exuded by everyone, which bodes really well for the future. Pre-War Prescott is now very firmly on the annual fixture list. Plans are well under way for next year already and I'm just booking the hill for 2013 before it is too late. Prescott is fully booked for 2012 already - it's certainly a popular little spot.

There is mention in Full Chat, page 11 in the August edition of the Automobile of the VMR and the Lewis - Nicholson award and reference to the number of Austin 7's compared with Minors at Light Car events.

Jeez! I just spent the last hour going through Graham Abbott's CD of photos taken at Prescott. I was looking for photos for M 139. I picked the 'must print' images - there were 29! And Graham was just one of eight professional photographers we had on the day, so goodness only knows how the hell I am going to select a printable shortlist from their combined works!

Here's just a random handful:
