Classic Car of the Year

Post by Ian Grace »

This just in from Mike Norrey - worthy of our support. Note also John Nagle's 1934 Minor 2-seater - also highly worthy of your vote!

"Ian,
I trust both of you are well.
The recent Newsletter would indicate that you are very busy.
Do you think you could fit in a communicationl to all VMR Members for me please.
Our grandson Ben Lowe (16 yrs old) and I along with my trusted two experts in their trade - Jonathan Evans and John Hammond - have just put the final touches to our restoration of a 1969 Minor Traveller.
Ben entered the car in the above national competition and successfully acheived a top 30 from several hundred entries.
The current round of voting to choose the top five closes on 27th September 2013.
This is an ideal opportunity to raise further the interest in preserving the vintage and classic range of Morris cars.
The top five will feature in this years NEC (Birmingham) Motor Show in November.
To vote, one needs to access the website http://www.ccoty.co.uk and drop down to Ben's entry and apply the 'tick' in the top right hand corner.
Thanks in advance,
Mike"
