Where do these people get their ideas from ?

Rare ? Not really , they crop up on Ebay from time to time , and always at Beaulieu or MR rally at Thoresby.

Condition. Nowhere near "good" condition.

Price ? I would say divide by a factor of 10 , that would be nearer their value each.

And the centres aren't up to much. The air in the tyres might come in handy.

These look like they go with the engine that's been on ebay a while. One looks like it might have the detatchable hub centre that mine had once the spokes were removed!!! If anyone is looking for pre magna hubs I have a number for sale, some complete, some need the "detatchable" centre welding back on!

firsrt bid lowered to 150........... on closer inspection, it actually appears that one of the hubs might be a Wolseley one........

another favourite is "thats just too short enough" and "it'll be handy even if you never use it"
another friend used to say if you were arranging to go round to his house but he wasn't sure what time he'd be in from work... "if I get home before you arrive I'll put a chalk mark on the door and if you get there before me then wipe it off"
