As reported on the website, this early Minor is being auctioned at Goodwood on 1st July. The car was part of the Bunns Collection down in Dorset. In 2002, Ronald Hogg reported: ""I was talking to a chap that used to run a garage locally some years back, he rebuilt a Minor for a customer, it was a saloon, with a leather covered body! Reg. no. RX 4207, owned at that time by a Mr. & Mrs. Bunns."
So now it has surfaced, after evidently having led a quiet life for many years. If the mechanics are as sound as the rest of the car looks, then it has the potential to be a very useable vintage Minor. Let's hope it is picked up by someone who is going to drive it, and that it doesn't return to another collection.
