Wheel Centres

Post by martinng »

My 1930/31 Minor has plain discs on the wheels. I am considering finding a supplier who could reproduce something close to the originals, but with a stud on the rear and clamp plate.
I have yet to finalise the design details (e.g. chrome or nickel plate, plain or black lettering) and as yet I am waiting for some quotes.
However, if anyone is interested in this please let me know, so that I can gauge whether it would be a viable proposition?

Martin,

Ian Harris has these in his catalogue at GBP 16 each. He alos has the later (SV) ones that are stamped 'MORRIS' for the same price.

I'll e-mail you a copy of his catalogue.

Thanks for the thought Ian, but I bought the last two that Ian had when I was at Thoresby, hence my investigation of other options.

Hi Martin,

I haven't made these for about 30 years and don't have the press any more. But if anyone has any, or knows where to get any, it will be Ian Harris. Do you need his contact details?
