Pre War Prescott
Ian Thank you for all your efforts putting together this super event. Saturday provided plenty to look at and watch, Sunday -the navigation rally was good fun and I cannot think of a rally that finished at a better venue. The visit to the airstrip gave the crew a welcome break and added interest to ...

New mudguards for M type
What is the consensus of opinion for how much a set of mudguards for a M type would cost to have manufactured?
Cycle wings would be a much cheaper alternative but would not look right. . Any recommendations for who might be able to make a set?

Re: VMR Summer Rally 2013
Navigation rally. I see the entry form states that entrants for the navigation rally will have to produce a MOT certificate for the car. Is this correct? :?: A MOT test costs in excess of £50 so this makes entering the rally rather expensive. The VSCC do not require a MOT for their navigation rallie...

Re: Who designed the Morris Minor engine?
Wow! Thanks for all this information. I will print off a copy and read it carefully this evening. My friend's name is Keightley as was his grandfather. I know the grandfather worked at Wolseley and was a draughtsman/designer before, and at the time, the Minor was introduced. As so often is the case ...

Who designed the Morris Minor engine?
A friend of mine believes his grandfather was responsible for the design of the Morris Minor ohc engine. I have no reason to doubt what he claims and what has told me all would point to this being the case. The old chap is of course no longer with us. Does anyone know a bit more about the design and...

M Type on E Bay
In the words of Victor Meldrew " I don't believe it" £12550 for the MG M type that sold on E bay on Sunday! I hope the new owner is satisfied. It seems an awful lot of money for what it is.

I hope he is happy with his purchase. It seems a lot of money for a pile of bits and hundreds of hours of work.
