What is the consensus of opinion for how much a set of mudguards for a M type would cost to have manufactured?

In the words of Victor Meldrew " I don't believe it" £12550 for the MG M type that sold on E bay on Sunday! I hope the new owner is satisfied. It seems an awful lot of money for what it is.

I hope he is happy with his purchase. It seems a lot of money for a pile of bits and hundreds of hours of work.
