I put a new master cylinder on the TC and the brake rod between the pedal and the piston needed quite a bit of adjustment, in fact I had to take 1/8 inch off it before it let the piston back properly, worth checking anyway. I have been offered a pair of front seats from a 1933-1934 Minor saloon, can any one tell me if they are the same as the ohc seats? I have here a couple of what I think are Morris 8 starter motors, both different but both M35G Lucas. No idea if they work although the one looks better than the other.

Rich will make it run colder, lean hotter, so that does not sound like the problem. It would not be too unusual for a newley rebuilt engine to get hot the first few runs, but it should not keep on doing it it may still be early days yet.

Whilst DF had Bowden cables when I bought it they were getting a bit stiff and the cables were not pulling back properly leaving the brakes on a little.
