Re: JF 4238 1933 Minor Saloon

I think this is the sort of arrangement on the dashlamp. The chrome cover has a keyway which engages with the outer ring of the switch/bulb holder.(the outer ring should be turned so the keyway is at the top) The centre contact for the bulb has a pair of protruding lugs which engage with an angled s...

Re: JF 4238 1933 Minor Saloon

I don't know if this is original but it seems the right sort of thing.
I've got a few spare small bifurcated rivets for the bonnet corner rubbers if you need them.

Re: KR 5670

The 1932 Morris Part No. for the front axle on both the SWB OHV Minor and Family 8 LWB is the same - 36052.
It's also the same part no. for the 1934 SWB and the LWB Minor.

Re: JF 4238 1933 Minor Saloon

Not sure if it this helps but here’s a picture of the apron and bonnet platforms on my 1934 LWB saloon. The chassis on the 4-door is straight at the front and doesn’t curve downwards like the 2-door, so this may not be of much use. The apron is 6 inches deep and the 4 louvres are 5 1/4 ins. wide. It...

Re: White Minor write-up in the Morris Register Journal

The Morris Register has an online copy of The Journal - Spring 1975, with the Skinner Specials article, in the Members Area.

Re: White Minor write-up in the Morris Register Journal

I think the article you refer to was in the Spring 1975 Journal Volume 7 No. 9. My copy has an orange front cover with a picture and a caption "Focus on 'Skinner Specials' Inside there is the article by Harry Edwards with a page of photographs. If you can confirm it's ok to copy it I can send y...

Re: JF 4238 1933 Minor Saloon

On my 1934 4-door saloon the back seat base is not sprung. It has a pocket for either an air cushion or padding.
However the back of the rear seat has a sprung frame which looks very like the frame in your photo.
