Re: KR 5670

Ian, Wonderful photographs. You have got something special here. To start with this should not be a 'Halbe' restoration - no offence here Halbe I am sure you understand - This is a time capsule. The seats are not leather but I am sure they will clean up but what do you do to keep them 'like new'? So...

Re: KR 5670

Ian, We have talked on this forum many time and you know my view on what you should do with the saloon - use it!! Go through all you flight checks and I am sure it will run well. How do you clean old fabric? Does Connelly's leather cleaner work? Warm water with old fashioned soap used to be the answ...

Re: The Indian tourer

The photographs says it all!! Some horn!!. A vintage motor cycle horn would look better. I have a bugle horn but that would not look right on a small car. Good luck on the restoration. Highlander.

Re: JF 4238 1933 Minor Saloon

John, Perhaps I have got the wrong end of the stick!! I thought you were moving the pedal from its 'centre' position to the modern right hand side position. I would say 90% of the cars I have owned have had a centre pedal. I t is second nature for me driving either and I never think abaout it. What ...
