hi Ian, Lets wait and see......of the four gaps ,three are just the way VG left the factory, nothing changed there whatsoever.......only the beam at the front has some room for adjusting. So in theory if one would use the same size piping all should be well..................I'll keep my fingers cros...

Hi Ian, Bolting everthing up is the last step .......first is doing all the individual panels and making all the strips/beading? between the body and the rearwings ,rearpanel and the beading between the bonnet and the body. Then it's bolting up time. Fitting the doors to check for even gaps ect ect ...

Hi Ian, Only the " holes" are covered by the cotton. Not the metalwork (corners) and most of the woodwork. The wadding was used all over in a thinner than expected layer, Anything upto 3 mm but the thinner the better. Eric, If you need pictures just let me know . I took plenty of the origi...

Hello Ian, Yes , the rear was a separate panel. Also notice the extra white bit of beading!
