Further to last weeks message. I had NOT taken all the valves out. I had only taken the inlet valves out as they were easy. I finally freed the pistons by hitting the underside with an oak drift. Further to my request of yesterday. The pistons have moved!! and all are now at top dead centre and conrods clear of the crank. The crank is also stuck!!! - solid. The little ends were also very very stiff but I cannot remove the conrods until I can free the crank. Timing cover off tomorrow to see w...

Seized Engine.
I have a seized sv engine. I have the valves out, oil pump off and the 4 big end caps off. Still pistons stuck in bores. Tried petrol, oil, coke and still no joy. I do not want to hit the pistons with a wooden block as they are original size and I want to keep them. Ideas please. I wish I had found ...
