Any vehicle, any age, mot or no mot, has to be roadworthy and an mot will not save you from the hounds of the law banning you from using any vehicle with defects! Ian, there is already a website with old car friendly mot places. can't remember where I saw that though!!!

With or without the MOT you were, and will still be, obliged to keep the car roadworthy. The MOT does not mean your car is safe or that the police won't check it over if they stop you, it just means it was ok on a given date. I have heard of fixed penalties for as little as the battery restraint not...

Bonhams auctioned 2 sv minors, a saloon and a 2 seater at the Beaulieu jumble and there was a cammy in the automart. The cars don't seem to feature in their results so i assume they failed to sell.

No! although marked morris minor 1931-1933 they are the ones with the pulley opposite to sv, see discussion on brians king pins from a few months ago!
