Re: 4.00x19 tyres offer

Hi Dave,

I'd be happy to releve you of them as I need a set of "working" tyres to move my rolling chassis around on. At the moment the chassis is just on the rims and I hate to move it too much like this.

Regards,

Glenn Bukin

Hi Ian, Thanks for the detail, I'm going to strip the pump assembly this weekend to see what I can find, as this seems to be the likely candidate. I've run the car for the last 12 months on a 20-50 "Classic" engine oil. Originally it seemed to help the overall oil pressure, but i guess it ...

Hi Ian and Ewan, I've got a similar problem with my F type, which as you know is the M type/Morris OHC engine with an added 2 cylinders!. I have great oil pressure at startup (100+) to the point where the bypass activates, and will settle to about 70psi after a few minutes. If I then run the engine ...

Side Valve tuning

I'm currently interested in the posibility of using a side valve engine in a special, for some "gentle" competition work, trial/hilclimb and maybe some sprints, using a light weight body this should be possible. Is there any information, notes articles etc, out there on cam timing, or gene...

Hi Ian, thanks for the update, I wasn't sure about the minor's, but looking at all the pix they are 3 spoke, seems that it must only be the M types that used the flat fourspoke wheel(as well as the D and F types) with the Adamant steering box. I've tried the guy's in Devon, they only make the boss f...

Wanted: Steering Boss M type/Morris with Adamant box

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, and many enjoyable miles of vintage motoring! I'm currently rebuilding a steering wheel for an M/D/F type MG (a flat spoke one) that unfortunatley has no centre boss. Does anyone have a suitable Morris boss (with/without the rest of the wheel) that I can buy? T...
