Re: Fuel Tank !!!!!!!!!
This might be the reason you're lacking in acceleration.........
have you removed the fuel inlet into the carb.... there is probably a fine filter in there, if its full of crap the car will run, but could easily be low on power!!

Re: Acceleration
Kenny, this could be several issues, first one i would check is throttle movement, ie, whilst you may be pushing the throttle pedal quite firmly, are you actually geting full movement on the carb spindle...... i looked at one car last yr, and he only had about 2/3rds spindle travel, and no-one could...

Are we sitting comfortably..........
If not, then maybe you need a cushion...???
Spotted in Homebase today!!
The Question is Ian, does this car still exist, and does the owner know that people have it on cushions in their homes.... assuming people have actually bought them!!

Re: Distributor wobble
I assume everyone that has fitted this distributor has also added a seperate earth point, as, especially with the o rings you're effectively isolating the dizzy from the block, or even without them if the dizzy is loose it's less likely to get a good and constant earth, when MT's engine was rebuilt ...
