Re: Four-bladed fan on '34 Minors?
I am sure four blades would help. My 1933 two seater boils like a good one on long hills and long high speed (!?) bursts. When overhauling the engine I paid attention to cleaning the waterways in the block and head. I got a bucketfull of rust, scale and sh.t out. I also renewed all core plugs. Still...

James. Have dug out photo of Rover 8. I am no expert on dates but looks as if on BE tyres - 1922-25ish. The wheels are disc and not spoked. I have also dug out my old Humber 8 tyres and they are 26x3BE. Are yours 28?? Two tyres are brand new (indian) and one very old and US. Yours if you want them. ...

Re: GPO van for sale.........
James, what year is your Rover 8? I have a very good photo taken in 1927 of an early Rover 8 taken in Ewell, SDurrey. The owner sold the 8 to buy a 1927 Humber 9 which I owned for many years.H ighlander. (Alister 0208 393 6732)

Re: KR 5670
In todays Automobile there is a very good Obit for Anthony Mattinson. Quite a bit about the McEvoy Special and where it went - also on the same page an Obit for Lord Raglan Fitzroy - he built a Morris Special at Argic.College. Must be a record to have Morris mentioned twice on one page. a 1932 two s...

My e.mails now OK. I have been out of action for a week. I see the MU numbers are still in the Sunday Telegraph. I have had no feed back as to spacing of letters and numbers being an MOT failure i.e. MU1 687 to read MU 1687. Can anyone help? I see such strange numbers and letter made to read names I...
