Morris Eight Pre Series 2 seater BPU 339

Not vintage Minor I know - but my elderly Father wonders if his favorite Morris of all time survives? Morris Eight Pre Series 2 seater Tourer registration BPU 339. It was a very early car from 1934 and it had some interesting differences to other pre series models, so may have been a development or ...

Re: Minors at War

Peter and Polly no doubt - known them for about 25 years! :D Ian Yes, Peter was very pleased to see my Minor a few months back, and called Polly over to see it. He was parked next to me in his immaculate 1920's Rolls which is ex-Maharajah and is polished alluminium from head to toe, and has a cow c...

Re: Minors at War

Just down the road from me is a chap who's proud to own a £100 Minor, well he bought it for his Wife 45 years ago. He has a rather nice airplane as well, a Battle of Britain Hurricane which he flies from his little airfield! Funny old world!

Re: Zebra crossing

What a pair of corkers Ian! We had a Springer for 13 years, lovely dogs if you train them well, which we didn't! But she was still fantastic.

I am sure this will perk your Wife up no end.

Ladies in Lavender - Minor Saloon JO 7738

Just watched this lovely Film on the TV, if you get the chance to see it please do, its a film that only the English could make, and the photography is second to none! Some lovely 1930s motorcars, including a cracking little Minor Saloon of about 1933-34 in green, looking very like the one Toby has,...

Re: Prop couplings

Be very careful buying 'New Old Stock' couplings - they often go rock hard and are no use to man nor beast!
Remeber they are supposed to flex! Fit new and forget them! :D
