Re: LJ 4435
So I found the problem, which the following photos should show clearly: http://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Forumpix/LJ 4435 dynamo fork.JPG http://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Forumpix/LJ 4435 dynamo armature.JPG Clearly the dynamo armature and fork keyways are shot. Additionally, the armature is several thou ...

Re: Pre-War Ludlow - 19th to 21st July
The planning and menu have now been finalized for our Sunday evening Vintage Evening and BBQ, the highlight of which will be the famed Eureka Jazz band. Often seen at Prescott and other motoring events and led by Terry McGrath - Alvis, Austin 7 driver and still racing his Amilcar. Terry leads on tro...

Re: Pre-War Ludlow - 19th to 21st July
I have just added the entry list to the website - link near the top. 43 entries so far including seven Minors. And there are plenty more entries in the pipeline - expected entry will top off around 100 or so. Should be a super weekend.

M 189, our Spring Magazine is complete and will ship to the printers on Monday.
Now I need some material to get the Summer Magazine going as I'll need to get that wrapped up before our Big Move back to the UK end of May!

Escape to the Lakes, Friday 6th to Sunday 8th September 2024
http://www.vintageminor.co.uk/Forumpix/The Grange Hotel.jpg As I have mentioned before, our repatriation to Blighty in June will open up the opportunity to mount spring and autumn Register gatherings – perhaps smaller, more relaxed and more intimate than the main event of our Summer Rally, but no l...

Re: Pre-War Ludlow - 19th to 21st July
The routes for the two days are taking shape very well indeed. There seems to be no limit to the fascinating and hidden places of interest and amazing scenery and dramatic vistas in the area. And in a new development, for the first time, this year there will be an optional treasure hunt during the S...

Re: NV 2803 - 1933 McEvoy Special
Quick update. The car is now a rolling chassis again. All done except the wheels and fitting new Hartfords. I have also collected the cylinder block and head from Autosport in Seattle. They have magnafluxed the block (no cracks), rebored it, skimmed the gasket face and re-cut the valve seats and fit...

Re: Website Wonders
The website has been edited and maintained using Netscape for many years. Netscape ceased to be supported about 20 years ago and does not run on current versions of Windows, so I have been making all edits on my ancient desktop PC whose life hangs by a thread and in any case won't be any good on 240...

Re: Christmas virtual pub meet
Just a quick note to wish all our members and Register friends a great Christmas and a fabulous 2024 motoring season.
Jayne and I are looking forward greatly to returning to England next June after living and working abroad for nearly 30 years.
To one and all we raise a virtual Yuletide glass!
