Rear brake cables, pre-hydraulic Minor, inc. 1931 model

Hello Folks Someone's sure to know if the rear brake cables really do have the inner multi-strand cables just going through the hole in a brass "eye" mounted just outboard of each of the forward hangers of the rear spring? This eye would act as a stop for the cable outer as well, I'm assum...

Re: Front brake actuating cams

It's all go here in sleepy Norfolk; Barry Walker M.G. has just sold me some good secondhand brake cams for my 1931 Minor, and a bit of an internet trawl has shown that the M.G. Automobile Company at Bicester Heritage has lots of M.G. M-Type and J-Type stuff as well. Nige

Minor wheel bearings

Hello! Morris Minor front wheel bearings are of a very common modern metric size, and consequently very cheap from bearing specialists. You can also get them in sealed form if you prefer for just a little more money. Quote all numbers off the bearings themselves which can be done by 'phone or online...

Re: Small hub Minor wheels

Hello Ian
Yes, the naves are sound so that's very helpful. I also have a tame wheel builder in town through my motorcycling connections. Any other old bike types in the Vintage Minor Register?

Small hub Minor wheels

Hello fellow enthusiasts! After taking the very old tyres off my '31 Minor wheels in preparation for bead blasting and powder coating said wheels, the rims of three of them are found to be perforated with rust. Has anyone any useable 19" small-centre wheels they could please sell me so that I c...

Last 1931 model Morris Minor

Hello Folks With enormous help and encouragement from our Ian Grace I've just bought the last scuttle-tank Minor, a saloon apparently coming off the production line on 17th July 1931 and being first registered on the 31st of that month in West Yorkshire. It's in a bit of a state and hasn't been used...
